Bourns AC Surge Protective Devices

Bourns AC Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) provide AC protection for front end installations, main switchboards, and?sensitive installations without LPS (lightning rods). The product line now includes the model 1250 Series General Duty AC SPDs with a maximum discharge current rating of 50kA (8/2μs) and the model 1210 Series Heavy Duty AC SPDs with a maximum discharge current rating of 100kA (8/20μs). These DIN Rail mountable AC surge protective devices are designed to be installed close to sensitive equipment downstream from the main circuit breaker. Type 4 SPDs per UL 1449 requirements, these devices are designed for use in Type 2 applications. Bourns AC Surge Protective Devices comply with standards UL 1449 3rd edition and IEC 616343-1.
